This photo is of Stadium Station, later renamed
Stadium-Chinatown. The
system transitions between below-surface and elevated running just
inbound from this stop.
A third track is in place here, in use to handle extra traffic when major
events are held at BC Place. Some of the downtown skyline is
visible ahead.
After the line goes underground, there are three stations on the
route. Near the next stop, Granville, the Canada Line crosses
at right angles, deep under that street. There are no
connections with that line's closest station, Vancouver City Centre.
