The southern portion of the line is
single track. After the S 25th station, from where this
photo was taken, streetcars heading into downtown move off S. 25th St. onto
Pacific Ave. at the busy intersection. Signals are prioritized for
the rail vehicles, and signs warn nearby traffic not to enter or leave
business driveways when trains are nearby.
