The switch marking the beginning of double-track operation is just ahead of
the streetcar in this view, taken from the southbound side at Union
Station/S 19th. Ahead of the camera the streetcar turns off
in a couple of blocks. Pacific Ave. continues further ahead, and up a long
grade.
