The large expanse of the end window is
highlighted in this view at Theater District/S 9th. Car 1003 has
recently arrived at the end of the line, and soon will be on its way for
the short journey back to the other terminal.
Each streetcar collects power with one single-arm pantograph.
Depending on direction of travel it can either appear atop the front of
the train, bow pointing toward the direction of travel, or near the rear,
bow pointing away. |
