PORTLAND MAX LIGHT RAIL
Flowers for Sale

This scene looks toward the southeast, and the MAX train in sight is heading along SW Yamhill St.  It has stopped at Pioneer Square South, and its next station is Mall/SW 4th Ave.

MAX, outside the Free Rail Zone, uses a "proof of payment" system, with ticket machines available at each station.  Single-ride fares are based on a maximum of three zones.  The standard fare covering all zones allows two hours of use for $2.35.  An all-day pass is available for $4.75, good for  regular MAX and bus routes in the TriMet coverage area, and also good for the Streetcar, and WES commuter rail service.
