In this 2004 view at Caltrain Depot a parked
commuter train is visible to the right. There was no weekend service on the commuter line
to San Jose at this time because of massive upgrading taking place along that
system.
By the time Muni trains reach this terminal area they have executed something
of a long, irregular U-shape around the SOMA (South of Market) district.
This stop is parallel to the subway under Market St., a bit over one mile away from the
Powell station. |
