The rather rural setting of the terminal at Library
as it was in 1999
is evident in this photo. A train waits to leave at the very
narrow station platform, and our own progress has been momentarily halted. At
one time in the much more distant past interurban trains continued on along
this route to
Charleroi, another fifteen miles or so to the south. |
