The route structure for the "T" results in three
junctions between the two main lines. South from downtown one
first encounters South Hills Junction, where the system branches
into Beechview and Overbrook routes. The two lines come
together again at Overbrook Junction in Castle Shannon, and then a
bit further south divide again at Washington Junction in Bethel
Park.
