The Perley Thomas cars used on the St. Charles
Streetcar have been heavily rehabilitated, but the later changes
have restored most of the original look to the vehicles.
It's springtime in this view along St. Charles Ave., and of course
it is already warm, or hot, in New Orleans. Windows are open
and some elbows rest on the side of Car #903. The cars are not
air-conditioned. |
