NEW ORLEANS STREETCAR
Old Buildings Along Canal St.

Many old buildings grace Canal St. in the CBD.  The thoroughfare claims to be the widest street in any of the country's downtown areas.  This car is heading toward the river.

Some guidebooks to the city inform the reader that the locals never refer to the units as trolleys.  This term refers only to the power collection apparatus.

All three lines have numerical route identification, but the customer never sees that while traveling the system.  Riverfront is Route 2, Canal Street is 47 (Cemeteries) or 48 (Museum), and the St. Charles is 13.
