Car 104 is ready to head inbound in this second view
at the Fannin South terminal. The rather modernistic
articulated METRORail vehicles were built by Siemens. In normal use trains run in
single units, as shown here; but two-car trains are possible and are
employed for special events.
Low level boarding facilitates access for all. In addition to
seating at this level, the
cars have higher zones toward either end. |
