Mural tiles greet the rider as he or she descends the
escalator at Wilshire/ Western. This area of the city, as is the
case in much of L.A., is very culturally and ethnically diverse.
This mural is "People Coming," by Richard Wyatt carries out this theme.
Wilshire Blvd., of course, is a long-famous major commercial
thoroughfare. There is much activity at street level.
In these later decades densely populated Koreatown -- an area which has had its ups and downs
-- has developed and expanded
